Eastern Connecticut Cable
No, I didn’t design this cable company’s
website, but I did design their customer webmail
login page. This page was designed to make the
most of their great logo by featuring it
prominently. It was a lot of fun to do a small
project like this, I think it turned out great.

Northeast Alliance
The Northeast Connecticut Economic Alliance
helps businesses with financial matters when
they are in need of funding. Although there are
similarities, they are not a bank. However, the
client chose to keep the dignified conservative
look of a bank site, but allow simple navigation
for site visitors.

Seabird Enterprises, Inc.
This client came to me through a former web
design student. The site was assembled in a
short timeframe almost as a training program for
the client. I helped them settle on a particular
sweeping bird and typeface for their logo. From
there, we assembled all the pages and the site
was made live.

Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Lawyers
CCDL for short, these attorneys specialize in
"collaborative" divorce—a non-adversarial
approach where the two parties basically agree
not to kill each other. The site features soft
greens and purples, a very crisp, clean design,
and rigidly positioned photos of happy people.
This site is not finished yet, so I can't link
to it. |

Generations Family Health Center
This website is for a local health center.
The general look and feel was based on their
logo, but because the logo was very square, I
chose to add some curves to the design. I don’t
really like the green color, but I had to match
the logo again. This thumbnail shows an earlier
version of the home page, the finished one is
better.

New England Holistic Health Center
This website was designed at around the same
time as the Generations site (above). I
continued my curves experiment, this time
creating an arced row of (guess what?) tabs
across the top, and echoing the arch at the
bottom. I had more design freedom with this site
and like the way it turned out.

Tolland High School 1982 Reunion
I designed this site for my friend Cindy who
organized her high school’s 20th reunion. It was
initially a quick design, but became more
elaborate over time. It has to be one of the
fancier high school reunion sites out there.
Maybe overkill? The site is currently in limbo,
since the reunion was held this summer.

Armata & Davis Attorneys at Law
This site, which is coming soon, was designed
for a small law practice. The attorneys wanted a
somewhat soft feel, but definitely professional.
Although they specialize in family law, they
didn't want anything too kid-like, or anything
too "scales of justice." |
